who's game to go out for dinner with the team on last day of hols? it's to commemorate (uhm) the official start-ation of season 06. yes that. i shall pick a place since the team wldnt be able to decide anyway. i wldnt mind treating the team :) (if jing, charissa, beth and yoon wouldn't mind me spending their money) ok shall discuss tmr (sound familiar? =P)

hey team. if you've read my blog, you'd know that God 'showed me a vision'.since i havent really the chance to talk to you guys, i'll just do it here. anyway a blog is to talk to the team right? bear with me :)
if you've not heard the story, God is prob trying to say something to you. if you're hearing it for a 2nd time, God IS trying to say something to you.
Have you heard abt the mountain climber story? he was trekking and still was when night fell. it was when he realised he was lost. not wanting to stay still and get frozen to death, he continued walking, looking for a lodge or anybody or..just anything. walking as cautiously as he could, he still missed his footing and fell. thinking it was the end of him, he caught a branch. "Oh G**!" he exclaimed, dangling like a hopeless child. "Yes my child?" God replied. "I'm stuck! HELP!" "Let go of the branch and I'll be down there to catch you." " What the @*#(@. But God...God?..." Thinking that he was better off holding on to his dear life with the branch, he decided not to let go.
Next day, some other trekkers reported a dead man dangling from a branch, 2m above the ground.
ok the words arent exact but i'm sure i grasp the concept of the story? trying to decipher what God was trying to tell me, i think He is trying to tell the team;
1. though our goal next yr may seem blur and uncertain,
2. have faith.
i did not notice any team members feeling weary or whatsoever and i think God is trying to tell me that some of you guys are afraid. you are having doubts abt performing for natls. you are even having doubts you'll make it to the team or that mgx wld not even be good enough. but hey, God has already told me that as long as we have faith in Him, approach each trg as it is running for him and do our best, we WILL make it. we are a team that does every for Christ.

(sorry i'm rushing for time so if my interpretation is still kinda unclear and you really wanna know exactly what God said, ask me next time. the idea is there but not totally in detail. really sorry ! :))

HELLO! if any of you get lost/have difficulty reaching anchorage. you can give me a call? i stay around the area, i think most people are taking buses to queensway/ikea there. there's 3 different bus stops.
one just outside anchorpoint: 33, 64, 195
another next to ikea towards bukit merah: 14, 196, 197, 198, 855, 153, 123, 961, 147
and the one next to queensway opp alexandra hospital: 33, 195, 14, 197, 51, 61, 93, 100, 505
and another bus stop at the mrt (10min walk from there): 51, 145, 195, 186, 970, 111
*coloured ones are those repeated
but i think you guys arent likely to get lost lah. hahah this is just in case only.=X
if you havent written in the book, bring a/a few pens for writing on black paper ok! (try to fill it in before he comes!)

pandan reservoir was HOT.
i'm excited for this wed! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D i hope we can have REAL CROSS FUN 1 hr before we get down to serious business =)
keep trg dudes! and i think what mr quek said was really true. cross country is an endurance sport. so ENDURE and run your ass off! :)
