Blessed be Your name(Matt Redman) edited.
Blessed be Your name
In the depths of Macritchie forest
Where the green leaves improve our sight
Blessed be Your name
And blessed be Your name
When we're condemned to Sarah's Park
Though the lizards haunt and monkeys taunt
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
We'll turn back to praise
Though we groan and moan from tough workouts
Still we will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on us
When we all get the darkest tans
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in,
Lord Still I will say
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name
Blessed be the rain that you send
Blessed be the close companions
Blessed be the coaches that you give
Blessed be Your glorious name
You give us pains and strains
You raise the drink prices
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name
Thank You for the care that You give
Thank You for hearing our prayers
Thank You for the shelter you provide
Thank You for the encouragements we share
Heh let this be a reminder to us to keep praising him even when tough times come upon us.

tiffany has accused me of not fufilling my duty of posting on this blog.
somehow i felt i had to reach some degree of seniority before i could write something candid.
but anyway. to make up for my lost words, i shall have a long essay.
and since pictures speak a thousand words...
that was christine's farewell party cum national day celebration for those who missed it.
i must say i love hoi yan's house! haha. it was a pretty enjoyable time.
all the snuggling in the (freezing) cold dark room as we watched the parade on the big screen imagining we were there too. all the patriotic standing up and singing the national songs and anthem. the squealing at the sight and sound of the fireworks.and all the awfully lame jokes cracked(which was inevitable since tiffany was there)
okay. that's my essay.
wordcount: over 3000 words. :P

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation! A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong, she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away. Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake""Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers. "Yuck" says her daughter. "How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gr Mom!""Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Mom, those are all yucky!"To which the mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake! God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful! God is crazy about you. He sends you flowers every spring and a sunrise every morning. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart. If you like this, send this on to the people you really care about. I did.Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
quite a good story huh. it never fails to encourage me each time i'm going through a flour or dough. just imagine that flour sounds like trial and dough like obstacle then what i said one sentence before will make sense. hahaha i'm watching http://youtube.com/watch?v=okLarABzw0k&search=maroon%205%20acoustic. hahaha it's quite funny. the maroon5 singer has a very very unique voice...very difficult to singalong. but anyway, the title is 'harder to breathe' and just listen to the way he's singing..hahaha. sry it sounds like he (leadsinger) finds it difficult to breathe hence the voice projected.
haha sry sarah, my post isnt any much better than 'crap'. oh well :)
ok to uncrap this. I GOT A JOKE!!!!!!!!! it's related to running :D
why is the bicycle panting after it ran down the hill?
i've no idea how you create anticipation on blogs...
but
i
shall
try
anyhow
...
....
think harder!
cos it's too tired(TWO TYRE-D) hahahahahahahaha
i'm watching the zhuang yi c8 show now. for thoes angmoh xies, it's called Showtime! featuring students doing a 'skit' with innovation. i saw acsi ib before! i recognised yongjia. hahaha (yr5 ex mg swimmer). this sch, on air now, has OWEN on their pe shirt. hmmm.
ok this is a futile attempt of making this a meaningful post. but the story right on top...whoa great story. it's too amazing for words...
just like me,
tifft

Hurhur.
New lay. Hope it's fine?
I gave up on the colours because they were too tedious so Tricia finished it off yay. And... I'm spamming this blog with my post! Because I'm bored. ): So here I am to type out my views and whatever crappish stuff about CROSS COUNTRY.
now let me revive some memories.
DONT YOU MISS PAST TIMES IN CROSS?!
The times where we ran in Botanic gardens
The -quite- grassless CCAB where the sun never failed to give a break to the track, which we ended up suffering from. (The melted parts)
The man who sold to us uncold drinks illegally which he kept in that very old storeroom(which has a new door now btw)
Food haven with heavenly ice kachang and potato wedges etcetc
And we ran there from school one time just to support MGS netball!
And our at-that-time-not-very-loveable Mr Ng!
We could talk just about anything in front of him then...
The games he played with us...(horrible charades)
The times where he pulled us out individually in school and gave us uber long talks(which I admit, 75.2434% of the stuff he said went out of my head pretty fast)
Being able to train at the peaceful school HCI lol(haha and one time after training there he brought us to watch that race in one of the air-conditioned rooms)
His animal talks : (the grizzly bear, erm. I don't remember any other animal but there were 4 right???)
And did he tell jokes? Can't remember.
Cross camp!
Where we cramped into one room watching Mr bean(that Mona Lisa episode lol)
Where Chow, Mil and I(i think) snuck off to the public toilets to bathe while everyone else queued up to use the tiny room ones mwahaha.
Where we ironically barely ran and spent most of the time in the sea instead,
Where that one time we ran... we stretched at the rocks and watched the waves,
Where Tifftb and Mr Ng fought about how to light the charcoal, (it did sound scary.. like husband and wife quarreling..><)
Where Jeann fell asleep at 9pm plus every night. :
Where I found out that a standard marathon was 42.195km because of that game thing which my team lost haha
Where we rode bikes until my ass hurt for 2 days...
Ah and we had worship.
I gotta say we have changed alot now. More disciplined(when Quek's around) since we didn't really have to write/rewrite letters last time. And most of us have improved eh. (:
Lol and we didn't have the Khoo guy as our teacher IC last time. But. I dont regret being in cross because I feel like we're like a family, knitted together and closely bonded. Lol there is a family tree too right. All I know is that I'm Mil's stick insect. : We've all shared good times together, spastic times, sad and emo times, boring times, holy times and every other times...
Sec4s are leaving soon... NOOOOOO.
Though we have gone through difficult sessions, we know they're just obstacles. We have managed to overcome them, and we shall continue to because they make us stronger each time.
WE MUST
persevere on,
work hard and strive to improve,
not get on Quek's nerves,
have the best times we can ever have,
and last but not least,
continue to worship and serve the Lord.
mgsXcountry is strong. (:
YAY bye.

hehhehhehh.......rmb him? HAHAHAHA. aah the good 'ole days........ actually i wanted to juxtapose that photo with a pic of our present coach. but decided against it...the latter picture a bit scary. quite terrorising =p (hes smiling in it. ask me if you want to see) i'm talking to tricia now. we're both wasting precious time.. she's complaining abt human geog. while i'm just. not thinking abt studying at all. too depressing. (BUT i shall do some hard core studying tmr..before NDP starts!!!! i'm so excited for NDP. hehee. i heard mgs attempted doing kallang wave today? i mso sad i couldnt go sch today.) so i'm here posting stuff cos i'm getting distracted from our conversation. tricia's convo window is perpectually blinking, man. not becos i dont reply her quickly. but cos she replies too quickly. reaction time too fast. hahahah. haiyahhh i'm waiting for my sisters to come home now. so boring. sigh..OHMYGOSH THERE'S A COCKROACH IN TRICIA'S KITCHEN!!
