MILDRED HO. you still have the cheek to publicise the "TOILET WAR". YOU DIE. and those aren't 'huge ass lumpy blood things'; they are veins. YOUR veins for goodness sake. renuka said so. THEREFORE they are veins.

anyway mildred ho, the verse is good :) i like it

ohmygoodnessgracious ME. sarah, do you always have to show off your memory skills?!

"Mr Ng, Mrs Ng, Kai En;
Renuka;
Glory, Shiying, Charissa, Yoon, Rachael, Eunice;
YiHui, Tiff, Tricia;
Sheryl, Mil, Dannae, Me;
Grandma Grace, Auntie Grace, Charissa, Davelle, Julia;
Jan, Rachel;
Darianne;(is that how it's spelt? ><)"

youre the PRO man.it makes me wonder whether you ARE taking part in e activities or your sub-consciousness overtaking. then you are observing the people and making mental notes on what to blog when you reach home. you're quite strong also ayyy... got so much strength to push me in toilet right.. YOU DIE also. who else ah? i know TRICIACHONG ALSOOOOOOOO. walao. some kind of friend you are. nvr help me.

anyway, I MUST COMMENT on something. as danielle said, renuka drove to maple! so cool. teo, tricia (the unloyalfriend),dan and i went to hide behind the bushes while waiting for renuka to drive in. (i dont know why we were hiding) we didnt know how her car looked like so we had to use our X ray visions to see through the reflective windows of all the car. whoa we're formidable. FEAR US. though all the cars were moving at tremendous speed, there was nothing our eyes could not catch. none of the drivers resembled renuka.after using quite a bit of our powers, renuka still hadn't arrive. but, we needed to recuperate and regain back our energy level to last us through the night. we went to squat at a corner and concentrated on regulating our breathing. then renuka came. but we didn't see her. we sensed her. telepathy man. Miss Wu Ming jumped up and dashed across the road, running after renuka's car while the rest saddled up their horses and gallopped after renuka's car. after about 5m, we caught her and knocked. she instantly stopped, and Miss Teo giggled,"Can you give us a ride to the carpark?" HAHAHAA. renuka looked so shocked but we hopped on anyway. she was driving as slow as she could probably because she wanted us to experience what slow means, since mgcrossies are fast. what an experience!

mil and sarah have said most of things i wanted to say.i'm just posting the photos! which you guys have been asking about. basically the gathering was really fun.
(except when i broke the chair.really no wonder why mr quek's been pestering me to lose weight with the very obvious hints).
crossie worship was really beautiful.we should bring back the morning worship!
mr ng looked great too. really enjoyed his very short(in mr ng's standards) talk. it's these things we took for granted when he was around that we miss when he's gone. and kaien is so bigg now! (tiff, ryan has a competitor!)
then later that night we all went a little wild blowwindblowing.having lots of references to cross country like "who ran sarah's park?" or "who's done sicc".

you know, we really are the mgxctry family. 7 generations last night. all united by a common bond, the experience in mgxctry.

danielle.

~ Welcome back Mr Ng ~

All work and no play makes jackjill a dull boygirl.
Yes indeed. I hope today's gathering have accomplished in relieving stress for you guys. (:
Haha I shall be mean in this post.

MgX crossies ranging from short to tall, skinny to average, toned legs to legs with no muscles like mine, sec1 to jc1(+ renuka) came today YAY.

Mr Ng, Mrs Ng, Kai En;
Renuka;
Glory, Shiying, Charissa, Yoon, Rachael, Eunice;
YiHui, Tiff, Tricia;
Sheryl, Mil, Dannae, Me;
Grandma Grace, Auntie Grace, Charissa, Davelle, Julia;
Jan, Rachel;
Darianne;(is that how it's spelt? ><) And of course, me lol

FUN fun FUN :D We successfully locked Tifft in the toilet! It was like trying to get a buffalo into a saucepan \: Captain got muscles sia. Tifft wouldn't let go of my hand, so at one point of time, Mil, her and I were like stuck in the toilet lol. Then when I was out of the door I decided to sabo Mil for a while and tried pushing her in with Tifft, but it didn't work... ... and then Tifft finally got locked in the toilet ALONE!
"Eh Eh Tiff, MRQ IS HERE!"
"Good evening MrQ..."
"Quick, everyone tuck in your shirts!"
Heh heh.

We had a shortage of food, but Rachel the lifesaver came in with a huge mass of spaghetti completed with CHEESE! Yum ^^ Yihui, Sher, Julia, Jan, Rachel had this spaghetti competition. Haha, so that's Sec4, Sec3, Sec2, Sec1, Sec1. GUESS WHO WON?!?!
heh the smallest one :D like WOW Rachel totally beat Sher(who came in second), and I thought Sher was like the master of masters in gobbling down food. -.-

MrN had this talk with all of us again. I really missed those talks lol. KaiEn kept interrupting but he's really cute! And come to think of it, I think MrN is quite funny. \: Took a mass photo. Then MrN and his family had to go. ): I think the JC1s left soon after too? Study study....

WORSHIP! <3 We sang in the dark and... it was good. (: What can i say... I'm just pretty happy that we managed to have a crossie worship. Remember last time where we had wednesday morning worships in the gym? :P

Ooh then we had blow wind blow! I love that game!
"Blow wind blow!"
"Blow what?"
"Blow those who don't like MrQ!"
... ...

We started the game off by playing on the floor, and later we decided to use chairs. So there was one part where ____ rushed to a chair and whoosh, the chair leg broke off. Heh. :D I still think we should have disposed the chair... Sheryl ALWAYS had to fight for a position with someone else. Tsk Tsk no skill. (: But i think she won quite alot of the scissors paper stone games.

Haha, talking about Sheryl, she had this 1 on 1 pizza competition with Rachel, and SHE LOST TO RACHEL AGAIN! Then again, I would have gotten worse.

I'll let Mil and whoever else blog out the many many stuff that I've missed out. lol. can't seem to rmb much that happened... spent most time laughing... (Dannae I want photos!)

Part of cross country is about running. It tests our limits, and we must never give up no matter how screwed we think we are. Because we have been given this talent by God and you know that we are better than lots of other people. Hence, we must do out best and put in our utmost effort to please our coach and God. And ourselves. (: I'm sure you feel greatly satisfied even if you become last in a race, yet you know that you have done your best. Also, if you are strong in the mind and are willing to push on, you affect others around you as well. People take you as a reason to keep going forward. Good ain't it haha.

On the other hand, cross is also about the friendships that keeps us together, the joy and sorrows that we go through, and the worships and prayers that encourage us to go on. And I just hope that even as some of us depart from mgs each year, we will still keep in close contact with each other, bonded by MgsXCountry. I don't know about you, but I know the most sensible and best friends of mine come from this cca, and I'm proud of that. (: Like what MrN said, the bond that we have in cross country is what many people lack, and we should treasure it. so... Praise the Lord. (:

Haha and I also really thank MrN for being our previous coach, because I think he was the one who managed to get all of us closer to each other. His hard workouts made us deeply encourage one another... o.o The cross camp which he allowed, the games he started... You all know I didnt exactly like him last time. But he definitely made a big difference in my life and I'm very appreciative of it. MrN is leaving in about a week, so for those of us who might see him again in the following week, lets treasure the rest of the conversations we have with him. The sec 1s may not really know who he is, but I assure you, he's a great coach+friend.

p.s.
thanks to those who organised this gathering, it really made my day, seriously.

WICKED FUN.

So, it was really enjoyable. Having met up with the ex-mg&crossies again.
I really missed them!

The food was absolutely fantastic!

AND THE BROWNIES. OMGOSH THE BROWNIES!!!
The brownies were DRIPPING WITH BUTTER!
And for Blow Wind Blow's punishment? Eat the brownies! Hahah!
But they were good!

For the "Toilet War".
Tiffany Tan, You better watch out! I've got these huge-ass lumpy blood things on my arm and they HURT LIKE GHADFGLKDF(*&^%$#!!!

Blow wind blow is so fun. Just that there are some explicit content in our game. Hahahah.
But breaking the chair was
the ultimate. Gosh, I was sitting right next to her! Shocked me.

There was one part when tifft was the blow wind blow person.

She said:
" Blow all those who think they are pretty!!! "
And you know what?
NO ONE MOVED. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. WHAT A JOKE TIFFT.
You really crack us up.
HAHAHAH.

It was really really really fun. Honest.
But everything just went past so fast that I can't really remember much.
So I can't say much either Sarcs!

Mr Ng's speeches. I really miss those! Plus sharing time. Do any of you remember!
We would sit in a circle and one by one, share our problems.
Those always made me cry.

So yes, be it ex-Crossie or the ever-present mgCrossie, You will always be one.
Never ever forget that!
Never ever forget us.

Therefore, in Cross-country, even in the studies and outside, help your fellow friends.
And there are seniors/fellow crossies if any of you have problems and wanna talk about it.
Don't hesitate to open up!
'Cause I still feel we can be more united. And we will be!

" Therefore, encourage one another an build eachother up, just as in fact you are doing. "

1 Thessalonians 5:11

I'm quite sure there's a better verse but that's what I've got now.

What MrN's like.

Harhar. Upon reading JanTan's tag, I feel like describing how I feel what he's like.

Well um, actually he kinda reminds me of those kind of jap cooks who makes delicious sushi... because sometimes(or all the time?) when we greet him, he bows in return lol. He's also quite gentle and doesn't really become that crazy and shout like some man selling durians in carrefour...

He likes to pull individuals to one corner of the school and give intimidating talks for about 20-40 minutes too. : D I hated those. But it really shows his concern and care uh huh. I remember that time he made me sit down next to him and ask me for my eoy results... \: I missed 10 minutes of that funny post-exam programme!

He plays games with us! I remember we played soccer at NIE! Charissa Ong was like known as Owen harhar. And the ball never failed to hit me everywhere... MrN played with us too. (: And you definitely can't forget a crossie's all time favourite FLOORBALL woot! (: We had a game of that vs the netties.... Hmm but the side with MrN inside always won...

Unlike MrQ, he kinda gives us target timings to hit for the northern route, which actually is quite a good thing because it makes you wanna run faster unless you want to face the consequences when you return back from the workout. Hmm, but I can't remember what the consequences were lol. I think I got scolded before... \:

Oh..... He would bring us to run to different places occasionally... ): Rifle Range, the place behind school... Along Tanglin... And the fun thing was that we all ran in a group...

He gives animal analogies just before nationals too. GRIZZLY BEARR : D I know there were 4 animals. Now... what were they about...? >.<

You know. I don't really know much about MrN harhar. I need to go study now bye~

-.-" i forgot to add this,
10 reasons why people love training/running:
1. they love seeing themselves improve
2. sense of accomplishment after a run. (be it a lousy timing or a good one.)
3. being able to feel the adrenaline rush!
4. relieve stress
5. refreshing, wakes people up. (some may say its tiring though.)
6. teammates
7. weight is lost (actually its mainly water mass hahaha)
8. they're one step closer to getting more muscular (only if you take certain measures)
9. they're doing their health good
10. they'd learn to become stronger mentally & physically

ok the last 4 were crapped up but i wanted to make it 10 reasons. ahhaha i know some of you may think some of the reasons arent good enough to make you love training but there are people who love running because of those reasons. anw it also just means that you dont have to improve to love trng. runnning is good. :D

hello hello! this entry's for all those who feel that training is horrid/a nightmare. (& not for those who have no intentions on doing well in running)

i've come to realise that MANY of you guys are feeling that way. it may have become a chore, or maybe because of someone in trng that has made you feel BLEAHH about running. face it, you still have more than a year left in running and you either do something about it, or let it be ruined because of some injury/person/illness. and the latter's not worth it okay you paid for the fees. you hate training? then just quit. dont give the stupid excuse that there's no other cca to join so you're sticking to "horrid XCountry". DONT JUST GO FOR TRAINING SO THAT YOU CAN AVOID WRITING AN ULU LETTER FOR NOT COMING FOR TRAINING. its a stupid reason.

but anyway, this is no reprimand or anything, its just a reminder, are you really gonna let it go to waste by showing no interest?, giving up? letting harsh words destroy your passion for running? (please say no) cos if you are, you're wasting a whole lot of time.

even so, if you find yourself far from being the fastest, set goals, targets, at least close up the gap between you and the person faster than you, or, try to improve by 30s or 1 minute or so for 8km or something. hahahha. Sometimes trying to fight hard is something that isnt really easy to do, but keep trying, even if you dont become the fastest but if you improve, at least you didnt waste all that time running in the rain, hot sun, getting your shoes and legs all muddy right. and whats more is that, you gain the fighting spirit. you dont have to be the best. believe in yourself. you've been running for months/more than a year (for sec2-3s). and i'm sure something must have grown in you guys. and like what he said, if you find yourself doing the same workout as the workout you did months ago, something is really wrong. you might as well be in library club and go running occasionally with a friend. you'd be saving so much money that could be donated to feed those starving in africa or something. (ok i'm getting abit overboard but you get my point.)

anyway, if you think you've been slacking in training for too long, its not too late to do something about it, we're still pretty far from nationals. anything can happen. :) if you've got the spirit, it shouldnt be too hard to get to where you wanna be. just be patient and you'll get there someday. dont keep procastinating or before you know it, you'll get an injury that'll stop you from running for months.

and rmb, encourage one another yup, even if youre dying, encourage your teamate. you have no idea how much it'll mean to her. if any of you think this entry is pinpointed at you or anything, its not, you have teammates feeling the same way as you.

anyway today i asked mrq for his opinion on the term "burn out". it is but a psychological problem. and people get it because they havent been performing to their expectations during their workout. anw rmb, in Xcountry, you dont just become stronger physically, you get stronger mentally, dont care how many horrid workouts you've been having, keep on fighting, even if its been months/ you think you're getting a burn out/ you keep falling sick whatever. dont give in, because there will be that one day when you finally become better which will make all those horrid days of trng worthwhile.

hehehhee ok i'm going back to watch my cartoon now. BYE. and try to make the best of at least 95% of the runs you have alright! :) (the 5% is for Off days which is normal for proded runners or maybe for them they get 1% of off days hehehe.). something tells me i just wrote a crappy entry. =X

give me your ph number...so that i can call you when i get back...no specific date of my flight yet...
take care and ahng in there...how is Mr Quek...pass my regards to him
Mr Ng

here's the evidence. he doesn't even know when he's leaving. thinking about it, we mgcrossies have came a long way man. how we endured mr ng's training, his rantings, his pms days, his annoying smses etc... "please pass the message around. tomorrow's training is not for the faint-hearted. those who are chickens, please stay home." !??! lol, i didnt pass the msg around except to rachael and jen so maybe you guys don't rmb this. but i'm quite sure we discussed abt this together before/after trg. ok i need to sleep early if i wanna go cycling tmr. why am i such a loser. (that's a statement. not a qn. no response required at any costs) the things i wanna do or the places i wanna go...very odd meh? so sad. it's not fun doing fun things alone.
