hello team. havent been here in the longest time. havent blogged here for e longest time! my my, e team has matured quite a bit i must say...seeing you guys on sat trgs and all.. so anyways, this place needs a new entry! a new entry to commemorate the coming of nationals. but since i left mg, i kinda stopped blogging abt running bcos i rarely blog here now.because i feel that e new seniors shld take over this position. hahahaa..so since i lack the style of -run-blogging-, i am gonna quote frm e previous 2 natls. our seniors were a totally inspiring bunch.

charissa 05': and as i ran, i really wanted to proved most of all to myself what i could do. and even towards the end, i didn't slow down. okay this part would sound pretty dumb but oh well. (this happened at the last stretch where i was sprinting towards the finish line) i just imagined a conversation with God that went like"do you trust that i'll keep you safe? i have plans to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future. would you trust in me, and let me show you what you can do with my help?"

jing 05:
we run with the cross on our backs.
with christ in our hearts.
with the goal set in our minds

in rj, things are very different in contrast to e christian running environment i ran in for e past 4 yrs. and aiyah, it's really different in terms of team dynamics and all.. treasure mgx man.

tiff t 06: it still is an amazement to me. can you imagine where we'd be if we were much better behaved?! or if you guys listened to me more..(then i wldnt have to keep shouting DONT BLOCK THE RUNNERS! a million times. it affects people's mental man..i dont like shouting at people) haha i was kidding abt the latter. anyways, yeah my point: see how much moreeee you guys could have gone. the potential within each indiv summed up is good enough to bring you guys to the top! next yr next yr :)
(reading this now, i am rmbed of how much potential i saw in you guys last yr after natls 06. and it's down to 3 more days...i cant fathom how you guys'd do.. do e seniors proud :D)

tricia 06: anyway, looking for a source of inspiration/motivation in running?
1.you have it in your comp! - THE TRAINING LOG hahahhaa.
2.think of how you would wanna feel after natls has ended. do not give in to tiredness! (like the kenyans! hahaha)

when you slow down in a run, you make the run easier for your competitor.
Is that what you want?
when you slow down in a run, you feel more comfortable, the run becomes easier to handle,
what are the chances of success?

the seniors have left behind a legacy so great .continue to thrive in it :)
Races on the track have only two things to do. They have to do with the gun and the finish line. Run like crazy when you hear one...and don't stop until you cross the other.
